Since Wednesday morning, JoyRide Delivery is now available in Metro Manila and Cebu for urgent delivery needs.Â
To book JoyRide Delivery, users must open an updated version of the app (or download it from the AppStore or the Google Play Store) and select "Delivery." Items covered by the service include food, drinks, medicine, clothing, groceries, and documents, which are insured up to P2,000. These must not be larger than 17 x 15 x 10 inches, with a maximum weight of 12 kilograms.
For safety reasons, JoyRide prohibits the delivery of the following: cash, high-value items, gadgets, cakes and pastries, prohibited drugs, flammable or explosive items, suspicious-looking items, and pets or animals.Â
Since last week, faced with the rising number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the Philippines, the government has placed Luzon in an extended community quarantine.Â
The measure has suspended mass public transportation, including ride-hailing services like JoyRide, as strict home quarantine in all cities is in place.Â
