The Philippine National Police (PNP) Aviation Security Group (AVSEGROUP) has received a donation of medical supplies from a former member of the PNP who is now chief of security of Solaire Resort & Casino.
PNP AVSEGROUP Director Brig. Gen. Crizaldo Nieves and Chief AVSEGROUP HSO Lt. Col. Mari-len Ignacio received 5,000 face masks donated by Solaire from Solaire Executive Director for Security Michael Ray Aquino on Sunday (March 22) at the PNP AVSEGROUP Headquarters in Pasay City.
The face masks will be distributed to PNP AVSEGROUP front-liners deployed at different airport terminals nationwide.
(In the face of the crisis brought about by the COVID-19 threat, I am thankful for the help received from various communities not only by the AVSEGROUP but the entire police force. As PNP Chief Gen. Archie Gamboa said, this is not only the fight of the police and the government, it is everyone’s fight.)
He also encouraged the public to report any illegal activities inside and outside airports to the PNP AVSEGROUP hotline at 0917-990-0549 and 0917-574-2960.
