Lieutenant General Gilbert Gapay

He said the Uratex Foam company's donations of some 70 camper mats will "provide comfort" and "boost the stamina" of the health workers as they continue to battle the dreaded disease. "Amidst the fight against COVID-19, your efforts will make our health professionals more comfortable in serving the people," the top Army official said. The Civil Military Operations Regiment facilitated the hauling of the mattressess from Uratex Foam company's factory in Canumay, Valenzuela last Friday. The sleeping kits were then transported via military truck to the Lung Center of the Philippines. Gapay expressed gratitude to Uratex Foam company for their generosity to the health workers. The Lung Center of the Philippines was earlier identified by the Department of Health as one of the three medical facilities in Metro Manila that is an "exclusive" COVID-19 center. The two other facilities are the Philippine General Hospital in Manila and Dr. Jose Rodriguez Memorial Hospital in Caloocan City.
