The list of private companies who want to do their part to help government combat the coronavirus disease continues to grow.
Philippine Spring Water Resources, Inc. (PSWRI), the makers of Nature’s Spring bottled water, said in a statement that amid the COVID-19 crisis, "we will be donating one million bottles of Nature’s Spring water to several NGOs, hospital and indigents as part of our duty.”
The government has encouraged private companies to do their share in contributing to the effort against COVID-19.
Last Thursday, Malacañang lauded private sector businesses for their various contributions.
“Given that the Palace considers this current situation as a time for solidarity, it also appreciates most of these companies for stepping up to the challenge through their significant donations to various entities that are at the front of this battle,” Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo said.
“We can only hope that other businesses will follow suit within their means.”
