One more COVID-19 patient in Tala hospital --Malapitan

Caloocan 1st District Rep. Along Malapitan confirmed on Wednesday morning that there is one patient admitted at a government hospital in Tala who tested positive for the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

"Matapos ang berepikasyon sa ating health officers, mayroong isang kumpirmadong kaso ng COVID-19 na na-admit sa Dr. Jose N. Rodriguez Memorial Hospital. ," Malapitan said in his Facebook page.

However, Malapitan said that the patient is from San Jose Del Monte City, Bulacan and not a resident of Caloocan.

Malapitan also said that there are three persons under investigation who are admitted at the same hospital after showing symptoms of COVID-19. He said, "two of them are from Greenhills, San Juan."

"Patuloy po ang koordinasyon ng inyong lingkod at ang Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Caloocan sa Department of Health ( para sa mga magiging kaganapan. Nagpatupad na rin ang lokal na pamahalaan ng mga aksyon para masawata ang paglaganap ng virus sa ating lungsod ," he added.

On Wednesday, the DOH released the list of basic information of 33 COVID-19 patients in the country, including a 58-year-old Filipina who is admitted at Dr. Jose Rodriguez Hospital. She has no travel history and experienced fever, cough and shortness of breath on March 9, according to DOH.
