Next Ultra Lotto 6/58 jackpot expected to hit P268-M

By Jel Santos The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said the Ultra Lotto 6/58 jackpot is expected to hit P268 million next draw on Friday (March 6). She said the winning combination last draw was 47- 11- 32- 45- 34- 29, with a jackpot of P260, 843,711.20. Garma said 11 bettors came close to winning the jackpot after they fell a digit short of guessing the winning combination, but they will receive consolation prizes of P168,980 each. Because of the TRAIN tax reform law, the Ultra Lotto consolation prizes are subject to 20 percent tax. The government will automatically deduct P33,796 from the consolation prizes. Also, nobody was lucky enough to win the over P25 million jackpot of Super Lotto 6/49. Its winning combination was 34- 47- 41- 02- 19- 17. PCSO said Super Lotto yielded seven consolation prize winners of P70,000 each, which will also be subjected to TRAIN Law’s 20 percent tax. Lotto 6/42, with a P19.8 million jackpot for the combination 25- 39- 40 -07 -05 -09, also had no jackpot winners, the PCSO said. There were four consolation prize winners of P40,000. PCSO said prize winners must go to the PCSO's main office in Mandaluyong City and present two IDs and their winning ticket to claim their checks. The PCSO general manager appealed to the public to continue patronizing the products of the agency, saying people in dire need of help will benefit from the agency’s charity programs. Garma said PCSO started funding the government’s Universal Health Care program this year. All PCSO Lotto draws are aired live every 9 p.m. over PTV 4. The Lotto 6/42 draw is every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday; the Super Lotto 6/49 draw is every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday; the Mega Lotto 6/45 draw is every Monday, Wednesday and Friday; the Grand Lotto 6/55 draw is every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday; and the Ultra Lotto 6/58 draw is every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.
