Gunmen in Kim Chiu ambush try tailed actress from her home - police

By MB Online The gunmen who shot actress Kim Chiu's van tailed the vehicle right after it left the actress' home, the chief of Quezon City Police Department - Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit (QCPD-CIDU) said Thursday. (Mark Balmores/ MANILA BULLETIN) QCPD-CIDU Chief P/Chief Inspector Elmer Monsalve told Unang Balita that they have retrieved CCTV footage from areas where Chiu's vehicle passed before it was shot. "Kung paano dumaan iyong sasakyan nitong aktres na si Kim Chiu, siya ay iisa lang, walang katabi, kaya talagang nag iisa lang siya. Pagkatapos biglang may sumulpot na isang motor na nag hihintay na doon pag labas niya sa subdivision," Monsalve said. "Naka abang na sa pag labas niya," he added. Meanwhile, Monsalve said they are still establishing the motive for the crime. A special investigation task group has also been formed to investigate the shooting.
