Suzuki Philippines marked the global brand’s 100
th year and its Philippine subsidiary’s 35
th anniversary with a momentous occasion, with a gathering of its dealer partners and the launch of a new motorcycle. Called Suzuki 2020: The Perfect Vision, the event celebrated the achievements of the Suzuki brand thanks to its dealer partners, as well as looking forward to the future with a new model.
Launched at the event was the newest member of its Raider family, the all-new Suzuki Raider J Crossover.
Born out of the need for dual-purpose motorcycles in the Philippines, this new model is set to conquer the paved and the unpaved roads whether they be in the city or the countryside.
The Raider J Crossover carries the DNA of Suzuki’s renowned Raider breed. It bears the same power, performance and signature head-turning looks of a Raider motorcycle, yet with potential for more.

Suzuki Motor Corporation worked hand in hand with its subsidiary, Suzuki Philippines, to develop this motorcycle especially for the Philippine roads. It features motocross-like frontal appearance with a raised fender and a 60mm off-road type handlebar for comfort over rugged terrain. It features polypropylene (injection molded) bodywork, a narrow and elevated seat, engine heat guard, easy to read instrument panel, petal disc brakes, large diameter front fork, rear suspension with double cylinder dampers, and semi-block tires for better performance off-road.

This new motorcycle, like the Raider J, is powered by a 113 cc four-stroke, EFI air-cooled engine with a four-speed semi-automatic transmission. Suzuki claims it can achieve an average fuel consumption of 65.65 km/l and is equipped with Suzuki’s Eco Performance feature.
The 2020 Suzuki Raider J Crossover retails for only PhP 63,900. The Raider J Crossover is available in red, blue, black, and a special yellow and blue livery and can be reserved at any authorized Suzuki dealer.

Suzuki capped the night with the launch of its latest campaign to unify every Suzuki rider’s pride of ownership. Aiming to promote owning and riding a Suzuki as a badge of pride, the motorcycle maker has launched the slogan, “We are Team Suzuki and this is how we ride.”
