57 BuCor personnel complete transitory training

By Jonathan Hicap As part of its reform programs for employees, the Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) in Muntinlupa recently announced that 57 BuCor personnel graduated from the Transitory Training Course following their absorption as uniformed personnel of the agency. (Photo courtesy of BuCor PIO) The group, called the Batch Pinagtibay Class 2020-01, is composed of 43 corrections technical officers (CTO) and 14 corrections officers (CO). BuCor said the topnotchers of the graduating class are CO1 Victoria Locquiao, CTO3 Polvino Sacapaño Jr., CO1 Joyce Malinao, CTO1 Angeline Pascua, CTSO3 Jeanefer Llanes, CTO2 Oscar Olaguera, CO1 Clarito Demaala, CTO3 Jeahnnie May Banal, CTSO1 Marie Amjonette Battad, and CTO3 Paul Andrew Ramos. CO1 Missielle Ramos was given the Leadership Award (Class President) and CTSO3 Ruben Porras received the Tactical Leadership Award (Battalion Commander). Sacapaño and Locquiao were given the Marksmanship Awards. Attending the graduation ceremony were BuCor Deputy Director General for Administration and concurrent Deputy Director General for Operations Milfredo Melegrito; Officer-in-Charge of the Directorate for Security and Operations Gabriele Chaclag; Corrections National Training Institute (CNTI) head JSINSP Jaime Batuyog Jr., and CNTI Deputy Chief CCINSP Lucio Guevarra. The BuCor personnel were on training for 45 days in line with BuCor Director General Gerald Bantag’s program to instill core values.
