Mayor Isko debunks speculations he's seeking presidency in 2022

(Manila City Public Information Office / MANILA BULLETIN) Moreno said some people "were politicizing" and "putting color" on the Manila government’s relief work for Batangas residents who were affected by the Taal eruption. In his Facebook page, photos of checks that will be donated to various towns in the province, the distribution of face masks and relief goods and the deployment of Manila government personnel to Batangas, among others, were posted. "Yun iba dyan may masabi lang," he said. The local chief executive added that they were only "inspired" by the people, including children, who were willing to help others. "Kung kayo na wala sa pamahalaan nagmamamlasakit samin, eh bakit kami hindi magmalasakit sa kapwa namin," he stressed.
