BATANGAS — A portion of a road in Lemery, Batangas was damaged due to constant earthquakes since the eruption of Taal Volcano.
Part of the road in Barangay Sinisian East elevated to at least inches tall after it was shattered.

“Kahapon pa po, may maliliit liit na na bitak” (Since yesterday, there were small cracks already), said Christopher Landicho, 40. “Pero kaninang umaga, sobrang lakas ng lindol kaya ganyan yung bitak” (But because of the strong earthquake just this morning, the crack widened), he added.
Buses, 10-wheeler trucks, and other big vehicles were no longer allowed to pass through the area.
Several evacuated houses were also damaged.
