AirAsia PH increases flights to high demand destinations

By EMMIE V. ABADILLA AirAsia has increased the frequencies of eight domestic and international routes which posted high demand. AirAsia logo Passengers can now book and travel for flights to Clark-Iloilo and back, which had been increased from three times per week to daily. Flights to Cebu-Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and back were also increased from 3 times per week to 4 times per week, effective immediately. On March 29, 2020, AirAsia is also increasing the frequency of its flights to Clark-Tacloban and back, from thrice weekly to four times weekly. Likewise, it increased its flights from Cebu-Puerto Princesa and back from thrice a week to daily. Overall, AirAsia Philippines operates more than 500 weekly domestic and international flights from its hubs in Manila, Clark, Cebu and Kalibo. “We are pleased to welcome the new year with additional flights, offering guests more options when flying with us as they accomplish their travel goals this 2020," AirAsia Philippines CEO Ricky Isla yesterday announced. "Our adjustments are well guided by data, and I am very optimistic about the tourism boost this will bring to our country in the summer months.” The move to add flights is part of AirAsia’s vision – "Now everyone can fly!”–allowing AirAsia guests to tick-off more destinations from their travel bucket-list. The airline encourages passengers to check-in online at airasia.com, the AirAsia mobile app, or by using our self-service kiosks at NAIA Terminals 3 and 4. Those who wish to make changes to their bookings or purchase additional add-ons such as pre-booked Santan meals or luggage may do so via the My Bookings portal at airasia.com.
