The newly renovated ‘Tres Marias Hello Kitty Fuel Station’ is a sight for those who also love the popular Sanrio character.
From the fuel dispenser, the walls, to the roof, everything is filled with pink or drawn with a Sanrio character.
According to a report by ABS-CBN News, the gas station is owned by Noime and Francis Murillo.
The gas station has been with the family for six years before they decided to renovate it.
The Hello Kitty theme was Noime’s idea and design because she was a big fan of Hello Kitty.
“Kakaiba po siya,” said Belonio Hiez, a visitor of the gas station, who was there to refill their motorcycle.
She said she saw it on Facebook and had the chance to confirm if it was true when she was on vacation to General Santos, South Cotabato.
The gasoline station was named ‘Tres Marias’ after the owners had three daughters.
