BACOOR - Caloocan stunned Bacoor on the road to capture the Metro League U17 title with a 59-50 comeback win at the STRIKE Gymnasium on Saturday.
The Junior Supremos shut down Agimat in the second half, outscoring them in the third quarter, to spark a huge comeback in the deciding game of the best-of-three affair.
John Sherick Estrada made 17 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and four steals for Caloocan, which survived the homecourt disadvantage to win the championship.
Alexandrei Gazzingan made all of his 12 points from beyond the arc while also grabbing one steal.
Rion Porcadas and Mikhail Gutierrez each scored 10 points for Bacoor.
Rhyle Melencio played the entire 40 minutes and made eight markers, 13 boards, two steals, and four blocks.
