Carl Corpus and Laia Barro aim for top finish as they banner the early roster in the Philippine Junior Amateur Golf Championship (Match Play) slated May 14-18 at the Riviera Golf Club’s Langer course in Silang, Cavite. Corpus seeks to complete an unfinished business last year that saw him rule the Phl Amateur Open match play tilt but settle for second. But he expects a tough outing against a field teeming with talent, led by Leandro Bagtas, Paolo Barro, Joaquin Gomez, Josh Jorge, Masaichi Otake, Sean Ramos and Francis Lanuza. Registration for the five-day event serving as part of the PLDT Group National Amateur Tour is ongoing with deadline for listup set Friday at 12 noon.
