by Ernest Hernandez Makati pulled off a solid two-way performance in the middle two quarters to beat Pasay, 75-65, in the Metro League U17 Division at the STRIKE Gymnasium on Saturday. After giving up a 17-16 Pasay lead in the first quarter, Makati held its opponent to just five points in the second quarter before erupting for 32 third-quarter points to set up the rout. Jericho Mateto made 25 points, 17 rebounds, four blocks, and one steal for Makati, which moved up to 3-1.
