Manila Police clarifies robbery incident inside an elevator was not in Lucky Chinatown Mall

By Ria Fernandez The Manila Police District (MPD) clarified that the robbery incident inside an elevator of a mall shown in a viral video was not in Lucky Chinatown Mall in Binondo, Manila. However, the MPD Station 11 said it has no such record. Authorities also conducted an ocular inspection at the alluded place and found out that the elevator there was different from the video. “The management certified that there was no incident of robbery in the elevator of LCTM,” MPD Station 11 said in a statement. Police reminded the public not to easily believe posts in social media. But they advised to always be cautious and vigilant of surroundings.
