Feng shui experts predict a good year for Robredo

(OVP / MANILA BULLETIN) “Ang suwerte or malas natin nasa kamay pa din natin (Good or bad luck is still in our hands),” Robredo, a former housing chief, said on her Sunday radio show, “BISErbisyong Leni.” “Ang suwerte kasi iba-iba ang paninigin ng iba (People have different views about luck),” she noted. A day before the Chinese New Year celebration, the Vice President reacted to feng shui reading about her for the Year of the Earth Pig based on her Chinese zodiac sign. Robredo, 53, was born on April 23, 1965, Year of the Snake. Feng shui master Joey Yap said 2019 will be a less difficult year for Robredo as her chart showed “wood and fire elements that will enhance her energy” and “Elegance Seal and the Red Matchmaker that will increase her charm and attraction.” The Vice President welcomed predictions that she will reap good fortune this year. “Ang paniniwala naman natin parang meant as a guide lang ang mga ganito (Our belief is this meant as guide for us.),” she said. “Maganda sigurong pangitain pero ang parating tanong niyan, ‘Ano ang hinihiling mo?’ 'Di ba? Tayo naman ang hinihiling natin mas matahimik, mas matahimik na buhay, mas mapayapang bayan.” Robredo added. (It’s a good indication, but the question is always, what do you ask for? Right? Me, I ask for a more quiet life and peaceful nation.)
