Anna Mae Yu Lamentillo, a columnist of Manila Bulletin for the Opinion Section, was awarded by the Harvard Kennedy School Alumni Association, among others, with the Veritas Medal for answering the call of public service last November 30 at the 1st Bureaucrats' Ball held at New World Hotel in Makati. Also awarded were Pangasinan Fourth District Representative Christopher de Venecia and Manila Mayor Isko Moreno.
Pangasinan Fourth District Representative Christopher de Venecia and DPWH Build Build Build Committee Chairperson Anna Mae Yu Lamentillo was awarded by the Harvard Kennedy School Alumni Association, among others, with the Veritas Medal for answering the call of public service last November 30 at the 1st Bureaucrats' Ball held at New World Hotel in Makati.
Lamentillo is also the chairperson of the Build, Build, Build Committee of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH). She is the concurrent chairperson of the Infrastructure Cluster Communications Committee.
Previously, she worked with both United Nations Development Programme and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations in their Haiyan Emergency Response and Rehabilitation Programme.
She graduated cum laude at the University of the Philippines Los Baños with a degree of Development Communications, where she garnered the highest general weighted average for Development Journalism majors and received the Faculty Medal for Academic Excellence. She completed her Executive Education in Economic Development in Harvard Kennedy School.
She is currently pursuing her Juris Doctor program at the UP College of Law.
She has been awarded Natatanging Iskolar Para sa Bayan and the Oblation Statute for the Virtues of Industry and Magnanimity.
