LTO announces partial release of motor vehicle plates to begin Monday

By Richa Noriega In a Facebook post last Friday, the Land Transportation Office (LTO) announced that the partial delivery of motor vehicle plates for January to June 2016 registration will begin on December 2.
LTO also advised vehicle owners to check the availability of their vehicle plates through their car dealers or at www.lto.net.ph. Meanwhile, last March, President Rodrigo Duterte signed Republic Act No. 11235 or the Motorcycle Crime Prevention Act imposing jail terms and fines on the use of a motorcycle in the commission of a crime. Motorcycles will also be required to put bigger license plates for easy identification in a bid to curb crimes based on the law signed by the President.
