Lt. Col. Carlo Magno Manuel, chief of the MPD Public Information Office identified them as Jeanne Vaughn Nico Quijano, 24; Joven Francis Laura; 24; Mikhail Collado; 18 and a minor-- all residents of Blumentritt corner Espana Street, Sampaloc, Manila.
Investigation showed personnel of Manila Police District Intelligence Division allegedly caught the suspects vandalizing the LRT post located along Recto Avenue at around 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 30.  Â
However when they arrested the suspects, some members of the group allegedly deliberately interfered in the police operation and pushed the police officers, police said.
According to militant group Anakbayan, the four suspects were on their way home from a rally held on Bonifacio Day.
Anakbayan members staged an indignation rally in front of the MPD headquarters on U.N. Avenue in Manila on Saturday evening, calling for the release of the arrested members who are detained at the police station.
Police said the suspects will be facing charges of malicious mischief, Ordinance 7971 (anti-vandalism), Ordinance 887 (resisting arrest) and Ordinance 1600 (interfering police duties).Â
