Manila Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso has been awarded by graduates of the Harvard Business School Owner/President Management program for his "outstanding leadership" and "dedicated public service" as the local chief executive of the nation's capital.

During the awarding ceremony held at Ascott Hotel in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig on Thursday, Domagoso shared his Harvard learning experience with his fellow alumni.
“Yung Harvard, minulat niyan yung mata ‘ko. It gave me a new perspective on how to properly govern your constituents,” Domagoso said.
The Mayor said that he strived for success even he encountered some challenges along the way.
“Sabi nila sakin noon, ‘Ay wala yan, artista lang yan. Pacute-cute lang yan.’ Kaya naman ako nag nais na mag-aral muli," he said.
Domagoso also vowed to strive to be a good model of governance and would do his best to improve the life of his constituents.
He also encouraged his fellow alumni to help Manila in any way that they can.
“Sisikapin ko na magiging maayos at di kahiya-hiya ang aking pamamalakad sa Lungsod ng Maynila. Kaya inaanyayahan ko kayong lahat na tulungan natin ang Maynila in any way that we can," he said.
Domagoso studied at various prestigious universities such as the University of the Philippines, the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, and at the Said Business School of the University of Oxford.
He was also conferred as honorary membership in the Harvard Business School OPM Club of the Philippines which consists of successful CEOs, COOs, Presidents, and business owners who promotes focus in leadership, innovation, and personal growth within their organizations.
