Bato to VP Leni: Go ahead, say your piece

(Ronald "Bato" Dela Rosa / Facebook page / MANILA BULLETIN) Dela Rosa, in an interview with CNN Philippines, said Robredo's camp has already been releasing information about the country's war on drugs even before she became a part of the Inter-Agency Committee on Anti-Illegal Drugs (ICAD). "Go ahead. Hindi naman ito takutan, bakit kailangan pang manakot," the senator said. (This is not a matter of intimidation, why the need to hurl threats.) "Matagal naman na sila naglalabas ng impormasyon kahit di pa siya kasama doon sa war on drugs, marami naman na siyang sinisiwalat na impormasyon hindi lang dito sa atin kundi sa labas pa ng ating bansa. Ilabas niya yung gusto niyang ilabas," he added. (She had been releasing information even before she joined the fight against drugs, not only here but also abroad. Let her say what she wants to say.) When asked if it was right for President Duterte to sack the vice president just three weeks after she accepted the post as ICAD co-chair, dela Rosa said: "It's up to the President; he has the power to hire and fire,” said Dela Rosa. The former Philippine National Police (PNP) chief said there was nothing wrong with Robredo seeking help from other sources, however dela Rosa underscored that the former ICAD co-chair talked to "entities" which are known "critics of the government’s war on drugs."
