SURIGAO CITY – Police Lt. Col. Christian L. Rafols II on Monday afternoon, assumed his post as the new director of Surigao City Police Station (SCPS).

Rafols is the former chief of Regional Public Information Office (RPIO) of Caraga Police Regional Office 13 (PRO 13) based in Camp Col. Rafael C. Rodriguez, Butuan City.
He replaced Lt. Col. Rhandy O. Amaro, who will be reassigned in Butuan City.
“I am thankful for the trust and confidence given to me by the higher command of the PNP leadership, particularly PRO 13. I will be more than pleased to carry on the gargantuan task given to me,” he added.
In his acceptance speech, Rafols also vowed to continue PRO 13’s campaigns against all forms of criminality in this fast-growing northeastern- tip city of Surigao in Caraga region.
Surigao del Norte Police Provincial Office Director Col. Adolph C. Almendra graced the turnover of command.
