Fire broke out in Karuhatan, placed under control after more than an hour

A fire broke out at a residential area in Karuhatan Valenzuela, Tuesday afternoon.

The fire started at 12 noon at a portion of Marcelo Bridge, Service Road in Barangay Karuhatan.

As of 1:34 p.m. a post from Valenzuela City’s twitter page showed that the fire was already under control.

Two families were affected by the fire. Arson investigators have yet to determine the cause of the fire.

The Valenzuela City temporarily closed Padrigal Street, because of the ongoing firefighting operations and advised motorists to take alternate routes.
