UP-Diliman grad tops 2019 Geologist Licensure Examination

By Richa Noriega A graduate of the University of the Philippines-Diliman topped the November 2019 Geologist Licensure Examination, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Tuesday. Out of 473 takers, 262 passed the exam led by Dwayne Joshua Pineda Rafael of University of the Philippines-Diliman topped the examination with a rating of 85.40 percent. Six more graduates of the University of the Philippines-Diliman made it to the top ten: Armani Yula Verdadero Estanislao (2nd, 85.20), Marco Alfredo Josol Barrientos (3rd, 84.90), Daryl Louis Lim Tiangco (4th, 84.40), Jan Cedric Guerrero Sisracon (5th, 84.30), Jose Santiago Armildez Feril (6th, 84.20), and Christian Pangilinan Jimenez (7th, 84.30). Also in the top ten list are: Kris Angelie Habay Goblin of University of Southeastern Philippines-Davao City (8th, 87.30), Jamie Mary Loise Casem Tan of University of the Philippines-Diliman (9th, 83.60), and Jebiela Carla Petalcorin of Adamson University (10th, 83.20). The examination was given by the Board of Geology led by Elmer B. Billedo and Benjamin S. Austria. The date and venue of the oathtaking ceremony of the successful passers will be announced later, PRC said.
