The Manila’s Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (MDRRMO) said the fire broke out on the second floor of a residential building at around 6:24 p.m. along Nicolas Zamora Street in Tondo, Manila.
The fire has reached fifth alarm, the Manila Public Information Office (MPIO) said. It is declared under control at around 8:00 p.m.
Reports said the fire razed the nearby convenience store and auto electrical shop in the area.
Around 20 families were affected by the fire as of press time. No fatalities and injuries have been reported.
The cause and damage of fire are still under investigation.
