A Manila Traffic and Parking Bureau (MTPB) enforcer was injured after he hanged on to the vehicle of an alleged reckless driver in Manila on Saturday morning.
Closed-Circuit television footage showed Adrian Lim, MTPB enforcer was hanging on to a gray Mitsubishi Xpander at around 9:45 am on Saturday.
He was rushed to Jose Reyes Memorial Medical Center by first responders from the Philippine Red Cross.
The driver, identified as Orlando Ricardo Jr., was speeding across Sampaloc and Santa Cruz Streets in Manila.
According to a report from MTPB, Lim fell off from the Mitsubishi Xpander at Gelinos Street near Laong-Laan Road.
The driver was apprehended by police along Oroquieta Street corner Tayuman Street in Barangay 366, Santa Cruz at around 10 a.m on Saturday.
According to MTPB chief Dennis Viaje, the enforcer was now in good condition.
"Awa ng Diyos maayos naman po yung enforcer natin, na XRay na negative naman naka labas na din sa Jose Reyes Hospital," he said.
Meanwhile, the suspect is currently detained at MPD Station 3.
Police said he will be facing charges of serious physical injury and hit and run.
