Under the Activation Category, MB won two bronze awards for “Earth + Lens”, an exhibit which features photos of scenic spots in the country taken using mobile phone cameras to create an awareness on protecting nature, and “Agritalk”, a free seminar series for farmers, agriculture enthusiasts and those who want to venture into farming.
Under the Multimedia Category, Manila Bulletin won a bronze award for “Matalinong Boto - Election 2019”, a campaign to raise voters’ education awareness and give emphasis on the significant value of every vote in shaping the country’s future during the 2019 midterm elections.
Manila Bulletin likewise won a bronze award for the “Buwan ng Wika 2018” in the Single Medium Category. “Buwan ng Wika 2018” is Manila Bulletin’s advocacy of nationalism in celebration of the Buwan ng Wika, where the newspaper made its first full-Filipino cover page on August 5, 2018.
