Manila Mayor Isko Moreno revealed recently that he is part of Coco Martin’s Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF)-starrer “3Pol Trobol Huli Ka Balbon.”
In an interview, the 45-year-old public servant said he’s “grateful” to Coco and the staff for his participation although it’s only for a few scenes.
Recall that it was last September when Bulletin Entertainment reported the meeting of “Yorme” and “Cardo,” which sparks speculations of team-up between the two whether in showbiz or politics.

So, what’s his role, the mayor was asked.
“As myself! No, the same position that I’m in (city mayor),” he revealed.
Isko already shot his scene and he admitted the experience was “na kaka-miss” as he was an actor before entering politics. He will donate his talent fee for the film.
“Sabi ko sa kanila ibigay nila sa PGH (Philippine General Hospital) ‘yung yadba (bayad),” he said.
“Kaya nga ako natutuwa eh nu’ng artista ako hindi ako naging model. Ngayon kaliwa’t-kanan, sa nanka at sa wakali meron!” Isko added in jest.
A few weeks ago, Isko donated at least ₱5 million worth of his talent fees to help earthquake survivors in Cotabato. The fee came from a pharmaceutical company (worth ₱3M) and cosmetic dermatology and surgery business (₱2M).
Before that, Isko gave his talent fee to PGH, particularly for children with cancer and patients of liver ailments. Those were the ₱1 million talent fee for a modeling contract with a clothing company; and ₱1.5 million for being brand ambassador of a coffee chain.
“Pero ako naman talaga, honestly I’m honored,” he noted. “Don’t… I hope I will not offend anybody later on, that if you see faces of mine, my face in billboard. It has nothing to do with propagation. Basta importante maliwanag tayo. Sa madaling salita, trabaho lang ‘yun. Hindi ko naman ibinubuhat ng bangko sa inyo… Ni singko du’n wala akong pinapakialaman, at the very least.”
Isko will also have a cameo on television through “Bubble Gang’s” two-part superhero telemovie spoof titled “The ScAvengers.”
