Friends of a 23-year-old Chemical engineering graduate who was stabbed to death inside a budget hotel in Manila were calling for justice.
Capt. Henry Navarro, chief of the Manila Police District Homicide Section said Billy Ferolin, a Chemical engineering graduate of University of Mindanao was found dead inside a budget hotel located along Jhocson Street, Barangay 407 District 4, Sampaloc, Manila at around 8:00 a.m. on Nov. 1
According to his family, Billy Ferolin was in Manila last July 2019 to attend review classes for his upcoming board exams this last week of November.
In a tweet, Daniella Ingrid Romanillos, is appealing to authorities to help attain justice for their neighbor.
Navarro described the suspect as male, around 25 to 30 years old, medium built, 5’8’’ tall, wearing black jersey shirt. He remains at large, as of press time. Investigation showed the victim and the unidentified suspect checked inside a budget hotel at around 4:59 a.m. on Nov. 1. Nelly Villanueva, 31, said she was conducting a routine inspection in the hotel when she discovered the body of Ferolin near the comfort room. No identification cards were found in the crime scene, Navarro said. The body was brought to Funeraria Cruz for autopsy and safekeeping.
