PUP graduate tops 2019 Psychometrician licensure exams

By Marjaleen Ramos A graduate of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) Main-Sta. Mesa topped the October 2019 Certified Psychometrician Licensure Examination, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Tuesday. Bernadette Alice Cruz Rigor of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) Main-Sta. Mesa led the 6,800 passers out of the 10,670 takers with an 86.80 percent passing rate. Russel Prontes Candongo of La Salle University (formerly Immaculate Concepcion-La Salle), Ann Ross Lactao Fernandez of Ateneo de Manila University Quezon City, Geo Lovan Estepa Flores of Saint Louis College of San Fernando, and Belle Frances Solon Timosa of the University of San Carlos all shared the second spot with 86.20 percent passing rate. On third place are Jasmine Frances Concepcion Burgos of DLSU Manila, Darlene Angela Castillo Ilagan of University of Santo Tomas, Chaudry Psalm Montano Javier of Far Eastern University Manila, and Christian Jemverick Sundiam Manio of Angeles University Foundation with 86.00 percent passing rate. Ateneo de Manila University Quezon City was named the top-performing school with 100 percent passing rate. The results were released four working days after the last day of examination. The Psychometrician Licensure Examination was conducted in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga. It was given by the Board of Psychology led by its chairman, Miriam P. Cue, and members, Alexa P. Abrenica (inhibited) and Ms. Imelda Virginia G. Villar.
