P2-M shabu seized from couple in Negros Oriental

By Glazyl Masculino BACOLOD CITY – A woman and her partner, who police said high-level dry personalities in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental, were arrested in this city last Nov.3, and about 300 grams of shabu worth P2,040,000 were seized from them. Arrested were Chira Joy Libradilla, 29, and Kentford Cabriana, 19. Found in their possession were 26 sachets of shabu placed inside a bag, and other items including a digital weighing scale and a motorcycle. Maj. Wilfredo Alarcon Jr., head of Provincial Intelligence Branch of Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office, said the two allegedly supply street-level drug vendors and drug personalities in the city. Alarcon said Libradilla and Cabriana apparently were trying to take over the drug market in Dumaguete following the arrest of Central Visayas’s high-value target Denaquiel Aran Ciano who yielded 1.5 kilograms of shabu worth P10.2 million in a drug bust last week. Alarcon described Libradilla as a regional level high-value target who is also in the drug watchlist of the Directorate for Intelligence (DI). Cabriana, on the other hand, is a newly identified drug personality. Alarcon said the couple will be charged for sale and illegal possession of dangerous drugs. The two are detained at the Dumaguete police station.
