In observance of Children's month, minors get free ride on MRT-3

By MB Online In celebration of the 27th National Children's Month, minors (under 18 years old) can enjoy free train rides on Wednesday, November 6, the Department of Transportation MRT (DOTr-MRT) announced. "MAY LIBRENG SAKAY sa MRT-3 ang ating mga menor de edad (18 taong gulang pababa) na pasahero sa darating na ika-6 ng Nobyembre 2019!" the MRT-3 said in an advisory on Twitter . "Ang pagbibigay ng libreng sakay ay bilang pakikiisa ng ahensya sa pagdiriwang ng 27th National Children's Month!" it added. To avail of the free ride, students only need to present their IDs to MRT-3 station personnel. This year's National Children's Month comes with the theme, "Karapatang Pambata: Patuloy na Pahalagahan at Gampanan Tungo sa Magandang Kinabukasan," which aims to recognize the gains and successes of the country in the promotion and protection of children's right.
