Daniel Padilla reacts playfully to Kathryn's 'box-office queen' title

Daniel Padilla was first to answer when Kathryn Bernardo was asked recently how she feels to be hailed Box-Office Queen.

“Matagal na naman niyang hawak ‘yun, ilang beses niya ba kukunin?” he pointed out good-naturedly.

The actress as first and only Filipina actress to have breached the 800-Million mark for her last two movies namely “How’s Of Us” and “Hello, Love, Goodbye.”

The Kapamilya actress added: “Very honoured. Sana marami pang magagawang pelikula na mamahalin ng tao gaya ng pagtanggap nila sa TVs, movies namin (ni DJ).”

Kathryn is happy that KathNiel fans support even their respective projects. “Next time it’s DJ’s turn so let’s support him,” was her message to the fans.

Is Daniel happy with Kathryn dubbed as Box-Office Queen?

“Hindi ba ako Box Office King? Mas marami naman akong box office!” he joked, obviously happy for her.

Asked if he will “allow” Kathryn to be paired with Alden anew, Daniel said: “Wny not? Kung maganda ang kwento.”

The actress said she doesn’t want to think about it.

“Matagal pa, tsaka ko na ‘yan isipin.”

KathNiel will be seen next year on new teleserye.
