'It's Showtime' apologizes over Lars Pacheco's wardrobe malfunction

Shortly after news of the incident trended on social media, “It’s Showtime” issued an apology over the wardrobe malfunction that happened Friday.

Transgender woman Lars Pacheco suffered a wardrobe malfunction after her dress slipped off, exposing her right boob. The “Miss Q and A” second runner-up was with Kim Atienza while singing the show’s theme song during an opening number.

Host Vice Ganda issued the statement on behalf of the management.

“Gusto lang po naming linawin ang naganap na pangyayari kay Lars Pacheco. Nagkaroon po ng wardrobe malfunction kanina si Lars Pacheco. Wala pong may kagustuhan nun. Kahit si Lars ay hindi kagustuhan ang nangyari, at sino man sa mga host o bahagi ng programang ito ay hindi ginusto ang pangyayari. Kahit si Lars ay sobrang na-embarrass sa pangyayaring ‘yon,” he said.

“Kung mayroon pong na-offend doon ay humihingi kami ng paumanhin sa lahat po ng nakakita at nakapanood. Gayunpaman, wala pong may kagustuhan sa naganap na malfunction,” he added.
