Miraflor The Moment Group, the company that brought the award-winning global brand Din Tai Fung to the Philippines, is planning to invest on store and menu expansion across all its 12 food brands seven years after it first opened its first restaurant in the country. In a statement, the Moment Group said it will open a number of new shops in the next couple of months. Aside from the Philippine franchise of Din Tai Fung, the Moment Group is also the company behind homegrown food brands like Manam Comfort Filipino, 8Cuts Burgers, and Ooma Bold Japanese. “In the last seven years, Moment has established 12 brands under which 40 doors have collectively been opened in Metro Manila. Leading this growth is Manam, our Filipino restaurant, which has opened in six locations this year, with more in the works in the next couple of months,” Moment group said. In the next few months, Moment is targeting to open Manam at Ayala Manila Bay, Ayala Trinoma, Robinsons Ermita, SM North Edsa, and SM Bacoor. “Our cookie brand Mo' Cookies is also opening in more locations before the year ends,” the company said. Overall, Moment's expansion rate now shows an opening of one new restaurant every 30 days versus every 56 days when it started. Moving forward, the company will also launch a series of new menus across its brands, starting with The Mess Hall, which has already welcomed in exclusive plates and cult favorites from Manam, 8Cuts, Din Tai Fung, and Shawa Wama, putting Moment’s staples under one roof. Individually, Ooma shops across town will also be seeing a new menu, which will be taking on a number of Japanese-inspired classics and giving them a bold and fiery spin, of course. The new Ooma menu drops in the first week of October. Meanwhile, 8Cuts Burgers, the brand that shares its birth year with The Moment Group, will also be launching a new generation menu.
