Globe 5G now available in Rizal, Cavite, Bulacan

Abadilla Globe Telecom, Inc.'s fifth-generation (5G) fixed wireless broadband service, Globe At Home Air Fiber 5G, is now commercially available to consumers in select areas in Rizal, Cavite and Bulacan, as part of the telco's commitment to provide high-speed Internet access to 2 million homes by 2020. globe-logo Those residing in Greenpark, Cainta, Rizal; Woodland Hills, Carmona, Cavite; Carissa Homes 2A and 2B and Palmera Homes in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan can apply for a Globe At Home Air Fiber 5G plan. Globe is starting to make its 5G service available in more areas to reach more homes, announced SVP and Head of Broadband Business Martha Sazon. “Our aim for 5G deployment is to serve more customers, especially in areas where we encounter challenges in rolling out fiber-optic cable.” At present, the telco's 5G service covers communities with 120-250 homes in selected areas in Metropolitan and Greater Manila with plans of rolling out in more areas soon. Last July, Globe also made 5G commercially available in Pasig City. The 5G technology will empower households, specifically starting families and the growing middle-class families for whom internet connectivity is a necessity for growth and learning, Sazon underscored. Globe At Home Air Fiber 5G promises fiber-fast speeds and super-sized data allocation to power devices for entertainment streaming, security systems and low latency gaming experience at home. It is available on an P1,899 per month plan for up to 20Mbps; P2,499 for up to 50Mbps and P2,899 for up to 100Mbps, all with data allocation of 2-terabytes (TB).
