Rapper Loonie, 4 others apprehended in Makati buy-bust

The transaction, according to Simon, was done at the basement of a hotel located along Polaris St. in Barangay Poblacion, Makati at 8: 45 p.m. The rapper and his companions reportedly handed the box containing fifteen sachets of high-grade marijuana worth P100, 000. After handing the marked money, other cops went out and nabbed them. “He told our undercover men that he has a gig at the hotel that’s why they will just transact there. He placed the high-grade kush or marijuana inside a cellphone box,” Simon told the Manila Bulletin. The Makati Police chief said that they used P100, 000 fake money during the buy-bust operation. Simon said that his men went to the gigs of the famous rapper and befriended him after they received information that he allegedly peddles marijuana. “We have a very reliable informant saying that he sells high-grade marijuana. My men went to his gigs and befriended him to get his trust. Then they transacted with him,” he said. “We monitored his activities for two months in order to verify the information given by our source,” Simon added. Loonie, he said, was denying that is selling marijuana. “Loonie said that he is not a peddler. He insisted that is only using marijuana,” Simon said.
