By Rizal Obanil The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 162 out of 244 examinees passed the special Architect Licensure examination administered overseas in August. The examinations were held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; Al-Khobar, Jeddah and Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; Manama, Bahrain; Doha, Qatar and in Al Ahmadi, Kuwait. The topnotcher of this year’s exam was Lili Ann C. Reyes, a student from the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) who garnered a score of 83.40. She was followed by Geoffrey N. Caisip, of University of the Assumption, 82.50; Levi Gio Zen M. Santiago, of Bulacan State University-Malolos, 81.70; Gerardo R. Pinzon, of Saint Louis College of San Fernando, 81.30 and Jeffrey M. Musngi, of Don Honorio Ventura Technological State University, 81.10 to complete the top five. They are followed by James Patrick A. Pangan, of Don Honorio Ventura Technological State University, 80.60; Roshena Batsheba Q. Bautista, of Technological University of the Philippines-Manila and Edwina Rose G. Mahilum, of Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology-Cabanatuan tied at seventh place with 80.50 and Joel Evangelista, of Saint Louis College of San Fernando, 80,00 to complete the top 8. The PRC in their website page said that board passers need to register and to do so should bring the following: downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, notice of admission (for identification only), 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag), 2 sets of documentary stamps and 1 piece short brown envelope. Board passers are required to personally register and affix their signature in the roster of registered professionals. A full list of the successful examinees can be viewed in the PRC’s website.
