A consolidated report from the Philippine National Police (PNP) of Malay town identified the two Chinese nationals as Hao Yueran and Zhang Zhi while the South Korean national is Sungjun Kim.
Yueran and Zhi were caught Thursday night while Kim was caught Friday.
According to Malay PNP, the trio violated a local law of Malay town that prohibits littering along the beach. Instead of jail time, the three were only issued citation tickets.
The trio’s peeing incident was a month after a viral video of a pooping incident along Boracay’s white sand beach sparked public outrage.
The August 2019 video showed what appeared to be a Chinese woman helping out a child relieve herself along Boracay’s shoreline, while another woman was shown burying what appeared to be a used diaper in the sand a few meters away.
Meanwhile, authorities also caught several South Korean tourists illegally drinking alcoholic beverage along the beach. Authorities identified them as Jang Saera, Han Jaea, Changhyeok Lee, and Choi Rack Hyun.
