Several buses were caught showing pirated copies of the Star Cinema’s newly-released film "Hello, Love, Goodbye" during a raid at the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITx) on Wednesday.

In a statement, the Optical Media Board (OMB) said it launched the raid after receiving reports that the Kathryn Bernardo-Alden Richards film was being shown illegally on city and provincial buses.
The OMB said buses operated by Metro Manila Bus Co. and Saulog Transit were caught in the act of exhibiting the movie on their video screens. A SanTrans Corporation unit, meanwhile, was caught showing a pirated copy of the film "Avengers."
The OMB agents confiscated USB flash drives containing pirated movies.
The three bus operators could face possible administrative and criminal charges for violating the Republic Act No. 9239 or known as the Optical Media Act of 2003.
If found guilty, they face up to six years in prison and a fine of up to P1.5 million, the OMB said.
