The University of the Philippines (UP) outranks Harvard, Oxford, and Stanford in the 2019 World University Rankings for clinical, pre-clinical, and health citations.

According to the 2019 Times Higher Education World University Rankings, the University of the Philippines scored 98.8 beating University of Oxford’s 92.7, Harvard University’s 87.4, and Stanford University’s 92.1.
According to the Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (PCHRD), citation scores are an indication to the number of times a research has been cited in other research outputs. These citations serve as building blocks on breakthroughs or innovations.
The University of Oxford occupies the top rank in the World University Rankings while Harvard is second and Stanford is on fifth.
