QCPD gets outstanding community relations award

ByÂ Alexandria San Juan The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) was awarded as this year's Outstanding Police District in Police Community Relations (PCR) in Metro Manila by the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO), headed by its director MGen. Guillermo Eleazar.

Quezon City Police District (QCPD / MANILA BULLETIN) According to QCPD chief BGen. Joselito Esquivel Jr., the awards will certainly boost the morale of his personnel as they continue to serve the Quezon City residents. Apart from the recognition as NCRPO's Outstanding Police District in PCR, the QCPD also bagged four other unit and individual awards. The individual awards were given to Lt. Col. Teresita Escamillan as the Outstanding PCR Senior Police Commissioned Officer (PCO) and Capt. Ricardo Gomez as the Outstanding PCR Junior PCO of the year. Meanwhile, QCPD's Novaliches Police Station (PS-4) under Lt. Col. Rossel Cejas emerged as the Outstanding City Police Station in PCR. Earlier this month, the Novaliches Police Station and three other police stations of the QCPD were recognized as best police stations in Metro Manila for keeping peace and maintaining law and order in their respective communities. PS-4 bagged the first place followed by La Loma Police Station (PS-1) at second place; Masambong Police Station (PS-2) on the third, and Galas Police Station (PS-11) in fifth place.
