GERI opens Boracay Belmont hotel

Global-Estate Resorts, Inc. (GERI), a subsidiary of urban township developer Megaworld Corporation, is opening its second hotel development inside the 150-hectare Boracay Newcoast.
Megaworld said in a disclosure that, the P2.1-billion Belmont Hotel Boracay is a three-tower hotel located within the sloping area of the estate just beside Savoy Hotel Boracay, and overlooking the eastern beach of Boracay Island.
The Hotel features 442 rooms with choices of Deluxe Twin or Queen, Premiere Deluxe, and Executive Suites, with sizes ranging from 27 square meters to 52 square meters. It also offers special rooms for Persons with Disability (PWDs).
“Our second hotel under the Belmont brand will offer an exclusive nature experience in the paradise island of Boracay, as it allows guests to see the island’s panoramic natural scenery from one building to another – from the vast sea to the lush mountains and hills of the island and other nearby islands,” said Raymundo Melendres, Managing Director of Luxury Global Hotels and Leisure, Inc., the company operating Belmont Hotels under the Megaworld Hotels Group.
Belmont Hotel Boracay offers all-day dining at Belmont Café, featuring cuisines with Asian and Mediterranean influences.
Located within the ground level, the restaurant will utilize local fresh farm produce to support the farmers in Aklan and other nearby provinces.
Two more Food and Beverage (F&B) outlets will also open in the hotel: the Zabana Pool Bar at the second level deck, and the Trellis Garden within the landscaped deck that connects the two towers of the hotel.
Belmont Hotel Boracay features a wide array of amenities and services that include a swimming pool and in-pool lounge, Aqua Spa, courtyard, landscaped gardens, fitness center with shower and changing rooms, business center, function halls, meeting rooms, a full-time Concierge, 24-hour In-room Dining Service, and complimentary shuttle services.
