Flood remains along MacArthur Highway in Marilao, Bulacan

(Jansen Romero / MANILA BULLETIN) In a report from Unang Balita, the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (PDRRMO) said that MacArthur Highway in Marilao was flooded by ankle-deep to leg-deep water, which also slowed down passing motorists. The flood is also still expected to rise due to high tide and continuous rains. PDRRMO said it has already deployed trucks to offer free rides to the stranded commuters. As of 10 a.m., the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said "Falcon" has slightly intensified, packing maximum sustained winds of 75 kilometers per hour and 90 kph gusts. It is expected to leave the Philippine area of responsibility on Thursday night if it continues moving northward at 20 kph Motorists and residents are advised to stay indoors and to be on alert for possible landslides, mudslides, rockslides, and flashfloods.
