Passenger bus accident in NLEX

By Allysa Nievera A passenger bus fell off the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) Bridge in Barangay San Felipe, San Fernando Pampanga, Thursday morning. According to NLEX traffic and safety manager, Robin Ignacio in an interview by Dobol B sa News TV,  said there were two trucks involved in the accident. The bus cleared the railings of the bridge and landed on one of the trucks. He assured motorists that NLEX railings are up to standard. “Base sa mga nakaraan (insidente), hindi naman po ang railing ang bumibigay. Talagang sumampa lang po yung mga sasakyan (Based on previous incidents our railings did not give way. The vehicles actually climbed over them).” he said.
