The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) reshuffled Friday its 20 regional directors and assistant directors in Metro Manila and elsewhere following the splitting of the big Quezon City and Makati regional offices.

Quezon City Revenue Region (RR) Nos. 7A and 7B and Makati RR Nos.8A and 8B were formed to closely supervise and monitor payment of taxes in the areas estimated to reach P402 billion at the end of the year.
Given new assignment in a travel order signed by Revenue Commissioner Caesar R. Dulay were Directors Grace Javier from the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) to Caloocan; Jethro Sabariaga from Laguna-Quezon-Marinduque (LaQueMar) to Manila; Manuel Mapoy from Caloocan to Quezon City RR No. 7A; Romulo Aguila Jr., from head of the old Quezon City region to RR No. 7B; Maridur Rosario from Cavite-Batangas-Mindoro-Romblon (CaBaMiRo) to Makati RR No. 8A; Glen Geraldino from the erstwhile Makati region to RR No. 8B; Jerry Dumayas from Legaspi City to CaBaMiRo; Antonio Jaminola from Eastern Visayas to Bacolod City and Aynie Dizon from Bacolod City to Eastern Visayas.
Assistant directors who were promoted to directors were Joseph Catapia, CAR; Albin Galanza, LaQueMar and Dante Aninag, Legaspi City.
Other officials who were given new assignments were Assistant Directors VC Cadangen from Cebu City to Caloocan; Eric Diesto from Koronadal City to Manila; Josie Virtucio from Manila to Quezon City RR No. 7A; Bobby Mailig from CaBaMiRo to Makati RR No. 8B and Christine Chua from Davao City to CaBaMiRo.
Also promoted were North Quezon City Revenue District Officer (RDO) Renato Molina to assistant director of Quezon City RR No. 7B; Binondo RDO Ramer Narvaez to assistant director Davao City and Greg Buhain from division chief of the Large Taxpayers Service to assistant director of Makati RR No.8A which is composed of for districts within the city.
Makati RR No.8B is made up of district offices located in Pasay, Paranaque, Las Pinas, Muntinglupa and Taguig.
Meanwhile, district offices within Quezon City composed RR No. 7A while district offices in San Juan, Mandaluyong, Pasig, Marikina and Cainta/Taytay formed RR 7B.
