Kidapawan folk reminded on proper waste disposal

The city, known as Mindanao's fruit basket and highland springs, has two of its biggest rivers, the Nuangan and the Saguing, whose source is Mount Apo. The CDRM said the rivers were already clogged with all kinds of waste from the city's commercial district and poblacion. The CDRM has also advised residents and motorists not to cross the rivers during a heavy downpour since a bridge could be washed out by the floodwaters.
