Mayor Casimiro Ynares III said the city needs 200 personnel to work as traffic enforcers or security personnel under the Office of the Public Safety and Security (OPSS).
In his social media account Facebook, Ynares called on residents to join the OPSS.
The applicant must have at least two years in college; a year of experience in the field of work and has no record of criminal or administrative case.
A male applicant must be at least five-foot-five and a female applicant at least five-foot-two.
In a related development, Ynares said at least nine OPSS personnel face dismissal for dishonesty after they were found recycling confiscated items such as stainless carts of illegal vendors that were scheduled to be dismantled.
Other erring OPSS personnel were found to be protecting illegal vendors, according to the mayor.
Ynares, who will be relinquishing his post to his wife, Andrea, after June 30, said that since 2013 when he became mayor, the city government has been weeding out inept and undesirable employees.
